Reflection questions

  • What brings me joy and happiness, and how can I prioritize these things in my life?
  • What are some ways in which I can make a positive impact on the world around me?
  • What are some aspects of myself or my life that I may be hiding or suppressing, and how can I bring these into the light in a healthy and constructive way?

The Sun Upright

The Sun is an undeniably positive card, heralding joy and success. Do something that makes you happy, ideally something simple that doesn’t cost any money. Take a moment to reflect on what you’re thankful for and how you have positively impacted the lives of others. If things are difficult now, The Sun is here to tell you that things will get better. In the meantime, try to find a bright spot, no matter how small, in each day.

The Sun Reversed

Your expectations are out of line with reality. You might be overconfident or in a place where a minor setback feels like a catastrophic failure. It’s time to recalibrate your definition of success. Have you adopted an “all work no play” mindset? Taking time to do things you enjoy will leave you feeling refreshed and better able to tackle problems at work, in relationships, or life in general.
